Correspondence and other material relating to public utilities, including water supply in Bemidji, Minn., Clark, S.D., and Bismarck, Fargo, and McClusky, N.D.; power plant at Mayville, N.D., and construction at Camp Grafton, N.D.; Lucky Strike Coal Company of Zap, North Dakota of which Mr. Anders was receiver and general manager; Board of State Capitol Commissioners concerning the construction of the North Dakota capitol; and the Missouri River Diversion Project; together with material on Anders' family, including his son, Franklin O. Anders typed manuscript "Bataan, an incident." There is also a 97-page handwritten manuscript on the early (1870s) history of Bismarck, N.D.

Frank LaFayette Anders (November 10, 1875 – January 23, 1966) was a United States Army soldier who received the Medal of Honor for actions during the Philippine–American War. He went on to become a noteworthy engineer, businessman, amateur military historian and politician. Anders's active military career began in December 1894 when he enlisted in Co.
